Ghana Jollof Recipe
Ingredients:
- One cup of rice
- A pound of meat of your choice
- Medium size onion, chopped and ginger
- Tomato paste/puree
- Cooking oil
- Spices of your choice/Maggi cube
Procedure:
- Season and fry the meat
- Fry your onion till its golden brown, add tomato paste
- You can add sweet pepper and garlic blended with your tomatoes
- Allow it to cook for 7 or more minutes, add your spices allow it cook for a while
- Add your washed rice
- Mix it with veggies (diced carrots, green peas), cover it well so it steams well
- Stir intermittently.
